Whats a realistic price for my 04 Celica 140 ?

90k,FTSH, 1 previous , full leather, good overall nick, no dents or scrapes.

Thinking about getting something cheaper to run, Yaris or similar.

Have no idea what its value is for PX or private sale.

hi fella, you can (should) of course do a comparison in the calssified section. I bought the same car as you (140, leather etc) and we have the facelift version. Mine has reasonable (63k) miles and I paid just shy of 2.5k about 9 months ago. The dealership have remarked that mine is in good nick - personally, I'd hope/expect for 2k back from it when it goes (in about 4 months hopefully). You might get a fraction more on part-ex because they want the sale and a bit less for private sale because of the no-comeback issue. Swapping back to German metal myself.

Just checked sold listings on Ebay, about 20 cars there. Cheapest £650 dearest £1950

There was one exceptionally low mileage immaculate one and a modified one went for more (a lot more).

Gut feel - £1200 trade in, they will send it to the ring.

Sell it privately at 2000 and see what happens

Thanks for the replies chaps, its about where I thought, albeit a bit less.

I think I'll run it over the winter and see what spring brings.

.....now off to order a pair of tyres....

What is mad about this valuation, is that I have just sold a 2004 Rav4 with the same engine, mileage and original purchase price as your Celica, for £4000 privately.

Crazy really as the celica is a better car, but the RAV4 is in more demand in todays market.
