Mr2 turbo 1993 decat

Im picking up a 1993 mr2 turbo import rev3 and have been looking at full exhaust systems including decat
But I've read I don't need the cat for the mot on this yr/import car ?
Also ant advice on best induction kit and exhaust systems I'll be turning the boost up in spring.

Best thing you can do is a decat for the price. You dont need it for mot either. Be prepared to spend a few hours grazing knuckles and swearing at getting the cat off though.

A decat will be fine as long as you can meet the required emissions figures.
A JDM import turbo will not be listed in the database or In-Service Emissions handbook.

Print it off and take it with you in case you encounter a tester who is not up to speed about your car.

I have one of these. Quiet around town but barks nicely when the taps are opened.
The only downside is the Y pipe is not stainless so will need proper rustproofing.
