The run took place on an ex-military airport in Biala Podlaska, Poland where Kuba Przygonski successfully pulled off a maximum slip angle of 49 degrees and had an entry speed of 159 mph (256 km/h).

I'm still serious about it, IIRC similar speeds are often attained in the high speed entry drifting competitions (on race circuits), its nothing unusual at all. Yes maybe its first time Guinness have done it but they don't monitor whats going on elsewhere obviously.
I was laughing at you stating that you could drift a road car at those speeds (159 mph), which I took to mean a standard GT-86 road car, which won't even get to that speed at Bonneville.I totally agree that more impressive things are seen in the D1 etc. and that the drifting looks more like skidding in that rather crap video though.
Ahah that might explain it
Anyway heres the wrong side of 200mph whilst racing, with walls feet away & other cars about.
