Rav4.2 key fob.

My father has an old and trusted Rav4.2 with a 2 button key fob. The battery is starting to fade and needs replacing. Does anyone know how? I am concerned that I will not be able to dis-arm the alarm if I change the battery. Any ideas?

I just did mine at the weekend. There is a little screw on the key fob, unscrew that then the fob should clip apart, there is then 2 screws for the battery cover, unscrew them and put the new battery in. No problems regarding the alarm. I think it was a CR1616 battery off the top of my head, don't quote me on that though.
