I had a stock clutch in my FD and found it no different to the clutch that was in my corsa that i had before. very easy to drive, not heavy under foot and fine in traffic

Stock clutch may slip if you plan to raise the power, mine did.

Just replace the friction plate (disc?). Mine is 80 over stock and has been holding fine after replacing the friction plate for the past few years.

It's a bit heavier than my mum's newish Corsa but not much.

Make sure you drive them both smile I'd recommend mazdarotaryclub and fd:uk for the FD side of things. I can't comment on the 968 but I've had my FD for 6 years as my only car and I still love it to death.....this after having driven stuff like 550bhp GTRs smile

A standard FD clutch is as light as a feather.
