Your delimiting SHOULD have been done as standard when car was sva'd
don't snip any wires yet,part of the odometer calib kit can do it,also some have an electrical limiter on the top of accel pedal.Mr E said:

The back end can get uncomfortably light when the limiter chimes in.
This is mainly why I want to get rid of it, although not being able to keep up with fellow petrolheads past 110 is also just a pain in the arse.
What's my best course of action then? Probably best to replace my dial too as it only goes up to 120.

Ah, they stuck a 'face' over the speedo. take off the face, and you should see numbers upto 180kph, then get a delimit device, this retards the signal by 60% (the difference between Km's and mph), stick a mph sticker over the kph print, sorted.
Any Jap car has to be delimited, so why get rid of the MR2 for the sake of a £120 part?
