Chaps. Anyone from here going?

Two of us will be going from Watford in the same car (best mates evo 8) and will be possibly be meeting an evo 9 on the way. Some others may join the convoy.

Anyone else want to join/meet up, please feel free.

The weather is expected to be good on Sunday.

I hope the queuing isn't as bad as Japfest at Castle Combe. My car was on a stand there this year and the weather wasn't great. Hope you have a better time.

What queue? Our stand was midway between Westway and Bobbies.
Took a little over 15 minutes from Yatton Keynell to the entrance gate.

A complete contrast to 2012 where the queue tailed back well beyond the Texaco garage on the A420.



Almost four hours to get in via Gate C near Quarry.

I haven't been to Japfest 2 so have no insight into what delays there might be.

I'll take pics. There's expected to be about 6 to 7 thousand people, much less than the 15 odd thousand that were at Castle Combe.

Had heard horror stories about getting in to castle Combe but took only about 30mins this year, had a nice r34 gtr behind me to stare at which pasted the time anyway

I'm hoping for some of the same tomorrow. Ended up missing Japfest in May but am quite looking for a nice time tomorrow. Especially with the weather being at 30°C.

If nothing else, the weather should be a sight better than it was at Castle Combe.

It was a good time and the weather was amazing. It was surely the first car show I've been to, of any sort, where you got free toothpaste in the swag bag on entry!

That being said, I thought the lack of vendors and club interest was sad. I was thinking it would be about twice the size it was. There were some very nice cars about, certainly, but I was expecting a bigger show.

Same here I think I prefer pt1 at combe, better viewing for track action, also wad a passenger in my brothers car , and Id say combe is a faster track, that could be down to first time there as hes done combe a lot.
