Mitsubishi Evo brembo's

Trying to fit 4 pot brembo brakes to my evo 4 rally car but the 17 inch wheels don't clear the calipers. Are the hubs different on later models or do I need to use spacers? Not really wanting to use spacers if there is another way. The wheels I am using are Subaru speedlines machined to fit mitsubishi hub. Any thoughts?

I can answer this one, as I am getting the bits to fit brembos to my early EVO engined Hatchback.

There's nothing wrong with your hubs, or the brakes.

They are just bulky, so you need a set of E5 onward alloys, which are shaped to provide the clearance.

Otherwise spacers are you only option.

Melnei Engineering in Bognor regis made some very thin hubcentric spacers for a workmates Evo when he did the same, think they were 4 or 5mm! Just enough to do the job without buggering about too much!
