Hello Gazboy,
The email sounds like the standard acknowledgement from paypal.I usually deal with Jason email him for particulars/probs(he doesnt always answer-so dont stress). They will normally send a shipping order when they're about to ship,in my experience you'll have under a week to wait.
When you originally ordered(was this for MR2 cams?)did they tell you if the item was in stock? When I ordered the Apexi PowerFC ECU I had to wait couple of months, because(I was told by Greenline)Apexi had to manufacture more R33 type ECUs.Waffling on here,If its a 'generic'part & its in stock you'll have it in a few days,if its more specialised you may have to be patient-frustrating isnt it?Dont worry he will send them tho.

Hope it all turns up pronto I shouldnt worry unduly about fueling,as they're all notorious over-fuelers.You'll prob find that whoever sets up your boost controller, you'll want to tweak it a bit anyway(spool-up time,hi-lo%boost gain etc).If your happy to fit it yourself why pay someone to do the fun bits!Best of luck chap.
That's good news honest! In my experience,I get an e-mail like that just before recieving goods.Every thing Greenline has sent me has been Air freight(3-5 days from Japan)-if sent yesterday(Fri)expect delivery midweek,by courier-so be in.
A competant mech will fit it(boost contr)in an hour or under,settings/levels etc perhaps 1+hrs.Hope you get it all in for Vmax
He's been unusually slow over this,I feel abit bad as I reccomended him,so I really hope the savings are worth the wait.

Gazboy,
Coloured filters?
How many hours for the RR tune?
Not much time for testing-Thurs to S-un,you'll need to put down some serious rubber & a tank or two of optimax before Sunday then
Some advice for Vmax:
You probably know all this so feel free to ignore
Get some octane booster. For track days I've been using Millers Octane Plus(makes optimax 100RON) and/or Millers CVPL(makes optimax101RON has valve stem lube=knock retardant).
Upping the octane really will give you a noticeable boost(R33 loves & responds to it)Also & perhaps more importantly,it will help to minimse knock levels.Esp as you will be trying out different & significantly higher levels of boost, higher boost will often equal higher knock levels.I can prolly bore you for hours about knock related subjects,so I'll leave it there.
For a safety factor-gives you 1 less thing to worry about-makes you go faster & will help you grind Gavin&co into the dustAll the best>

Tuttle- all the manuals are in Japanese, so I'll see if Fensport can provide me with some English ones, but Dave at DSA is going to fit them anyway.
I checked on the Blitz web-site,the conning *^$%'ers want £15.00 for an English translated copy-Apexi,Trust-Greddy etc all have UK manuals-FREE download.Perhaps try one of the MR2/Jap tuning forums,I'll keep me eyes peeled too.
The octane booster.-Deffinately worth it-Usually around £4.00ish a small bottle(enough for a tank)There are plenty of brands:Nitrox,Blue Stuff,StreetLegal etc.I've been using Millers for years-so use what I know/trust.You should be able to get it at any decent motorshop-look in the shelf where they keep all those little bottles of 'Magic additives'.Your RR tuner chap will prob have/know about some octane boosters too.
If you have any questions about it I'll try to answer 'em.Heres the Millers web page(check the FUEL TREATMENTS box),theres a list of stockists somewhere on their site too.

All the best Matt
P.S. If you really want some MillersPlus & can't find any,I have afew bottles spare-can post or whatever!

I can't find the millars stuff, but did find NOS octane booster- even comes in a cute NOS bottle!
It says it raises octane by 3 points, does something to valve seats, injectors, gives you a blow job and make you come twice etc....
Don't know how long it will last though.
I'm getting the car set up without it, then stick the stuff in a la belt and braces. I don't want to be too close to the limit and melt a piston.
Never tried NOS brand,(can send you a bottle of Millers tho)but should be fine.Agreed not use it for RR setup-unless you want to use it all the time. Its (usually) a petrol additive,so will only last as long as that tank full of gas-so no long term worries.Should definately give you a bit of a'Blow-Job'for the track day-thats the kind of thing I use it for-bit of extra oomph. It wont damage your engine, unless boost is really cranked up very high.imo its actually safer to use as it will help to minimise knock/pre-detonation.You'll often see an increase in knock levels when upping the boost level. The R33 doesnt suffer from knock too badly, but a good friend with an R34 GTR-his average knock(under load) was around 90-100,with additive went down to 45-60.plus the extra torque!
Get your RR guy to check your ignition timing whilst at it.The lower octane fuels in this country also can increase knock-so Jap imorts(tho sorted for 98RON)will appreciate the RON increase.
You have steel thicker head gasket yes? that should lower compression=higher useable(safe)level of boost. What kind of boost do you have in mind?+1.0bar?

[quote=tuttle]17/18 psi,to run as every day sounds quite high-to me.Should give you plenty of torque tho
Wayhay me Volk wheels just arrived!-just need a car now

18 psi is the upper limit for the stock turbo to run decently. I had mine at 1.25 bar, which is near as damn it 18psi. It only broke cos I did donuts for far too long, and it overheated and went ouch! Uprated intercooler, and/or WI should see 18psi quite happy.
