I had my first proper go in the wife's MR2 at the weekend, and I have to say I'm impressed.

It's a bit (ok, alot) cheap inside, and the engine note is nothing to write home about. And compared to my scoob it's a bit slow(). But, bloody hell it handles well. Very direct (if a touch over-assisted) steering, fantastic grip with plenty of notice when it's going to give up and oversteer as and when you want it. Brilliant!!

(And the Cat and Fiddle road was pretty damn fine too, spoilt only by a scamera van and a 50 limit. But even there, because of the lack of outright pace, I think the MR2 saved me)

I am aware, it just seems a bit superfluous when I already have a scooby and a Caterham to choose from.
