MK3 MR2 engine shudder low revs, 2nd gear while accelerating

Hi all,

Noticed this since I first got the car last August, happened very slightly but being Car OCD I was a little worried, father told me not to worry about, so I didnt. I notice it now and again, havnt been too worried.

But out for a drive yesterday it happened more notceably, same thing 2nd gear low revs while accelerating.

Obviously its coming from the back of the seat, just feels like a shudder, had a google seems like an audi forum had a simialr thing.

Just thought Id check to see if any other owners have had this,its first mid engined car as well so dismissed it as it being a communicative car, but thought as I have lots of owners on here, Id double check.

Are you sure it's not clutch shudder?

For what it's worth, my 2003 Mk3 doesn't do this at all.

Worn engine mounts? Clutch, as above?

It tends to be a 'now and again' thing, sometimes I notice it sometimes not, sometimes very slightly sometimes more obviously.

Ill get the clutch check when its serviced.
