Thankyou,Very relieved.The state of play is more or less as follows.The garage claim to be starting work on it next Tues & will take around a fortnight.I'm going to add at least a week to that.
I've now got just about all the necessary parts(except one headlight),this is my usual garage & I've always sourced my own spares for them-they just do the fitting/painting.So barring any unforseen surprises 3wks.
I've got some fairly decent 17" spares with Falken rubber that will fit OK untill the Volks arrive.I'm a bit worried by one of the Tein units tho,seems to be leaking but I can't tell where fromAny one,any advice?I think they're going to have 'fun' fitting the new bumper over that FMIC too,It made sense to get a R33 GTR copy-because the I/C mouth is much better suited for air flow over the FMIC.-I'll look like a poser tho
Cant wait to get it back on the road,shame most of the summer's over.Plenty of work to be getting on with too,got some bigger injectors to fit,the new turbo needs sorting & a good mapping session will be in order.Probably with Rising Sun,-Richard Bell maps 'as is'on the road-at night,it can be quite scary.He's had good results with this car so far tho,& he does like GTSTs. ----etc-etc-etc

Four out of the blocks, and in front until 3rd gear. At which point the weight, 4wd and aerodynamics (lack of) will mean the MR2 sails past and off into the distance.
It's a rally car, not a drag racer.
And I *really* could use a new clutch, so the take-off might not be as violent as it should be.
