Apologies first as I expect this has been asked a hundred times before. As there doesn't appear to be a specific Mazda Forum I'm hoping I can get an answer here.
Iv'e looked at dozens of MX5's trying to convince myself to go for one rather than an MGF !
I'm told the risk on a Eunos is lack of Service History, no or thinner underseal, engine spec. varies as they use in Japan a higher ROM petrol, sometimes iffy wheel rims, but I acknowledge the standards of AC etc. being provided.
With about 7/8K available what would be the best to go for ?
Thanks in advance

With your budget, I'd go for a UK car with the pop-up head lights (only cause the look nicer ) You should be able to find one with all the extras for that price.

The Eunos is a good buy if you're on a tighter budget (like I was) and isn't as different as some poeple suggest.

Oh and DON'T get an MGF!!!!

The only engine spec that is different is the uk 1.6 post 94 which has a massive 88bhp.

Undersealing differences are hype. If anything Eunos Roadsters should be better having not been subject to salted roads as long as uk models.

Petrol makes not a jot of difference on Eunos', 95 Ron is fine.

The main differences are: no fog light on Roadster, different rear numberplate surround, different windscreen, and Roadsters tend to be a higher spec.

TBH if you are buying a car that is 7/8 years old I would be more concerned about condition than milage.

On the MX5 owners club web site there is a 5 UK model for sale - I think its £7600 - but its the facelift model. Worth a phone call or a look perhaps.
