Corolla foglight issue

hello there!



wonder if anyone can help? got a Corolla 1.4 vvti Y reg ,and having issues with the foglights coming on and off in a random manner? ( turn on headlights and drive, seems to come on sometimes when you brake?)

the switch itself is the relay, its full of smd components and a tiny relay, shares with Carina E i think


have read that its a issue with a few people on the net, apart from a new switch, that is £56, could it be an earth issue?

i would be looking at the earths personally, particularly at the rear light cluster terminals etc
