There are a few importers who really know their Fds who will import to a specific spec.
Miguel at neweraimports and Brian Ellis at rotaryimports will do this as will others.

Both have excellent reps. You can also find a list of importers and contact details on www.mazdarotaryclub.com
What spec are you after?

That's good news!
Hmmmmmmmmm what would I be lookng for...
Engine-wise, standard or near-as-dammit and not too close to needing a rebuild.
Manual.
Gotta have the C West body kit I'm afraid.
That's about it as far as the specifics goes, although I'd rather not have a red or yellow one.
Would it be risky going for a pre 1993 car? (Thinking about dodging UK MOT emissions legislation).

You should have no problems with that spec - it's not too uncommon (but far from common!).
'92 reg is great for emissions (i.e. MoT passing) - mine sailed through recently despite being decatted and ported! '93 onwards have to pass the cat test and can struggle if you do some tweaking (i.e. you can't always just rip out the cat and get away with it!).
Downside to a '92 car is the state of the interior which can be a bit tatty. Mine was but I've painted the dodgy plastics which, imho, looks great and not at all max power Also, the older the car and the hight the mileage the more chance you have of getting something with less time on the engine.
