So where are all the GT86's/BRZ's??
Discussion
Given the general rapturous reception from the media (with the exception of EVO Mag), you'd expect these to be selling like hot cakes and skidding round a corner near you, yet so far, I have only spotted one GT86, and one BRZ on the roads. Now I regularly commute into West London along the M4 and travel around Bucks, Berks, Dorset and Devon on the weekends, so I'm not exactly a hermit, but still, my GT86/BRZ count is pitiful.
Are these actually selling? Or is £25k too much for this car given it's fairly low power output and cheap cabin? It's a real shame if they're not as this is the sort of car we've been crying out for for ages.....RWD, Limited Slip Diff, great handling, affordable(ish), light weight, and pretty economical.....

I wonder if these are selling as well as Toyota / Subaru wanted or expected them to. I must admit, even in a few years time when they represent a good VFM buy, I doubt I'll lust after one. The digital speed on the tachometer is a cool touch though, never noticed that before, but the car itself just doesn't wow me at the moment.
Only one thing I don't like about it so far, the driving position has been optimised for the seat in the medium high position. Have the seat as low as possible and its still comfortable but less so. I don't know what this fascination is with high driving positions, every car I've had except lotus seems to think people want to sit high.
