MR2 mk2 synchronise key fob

I have a 97 MR2 mk2 with the factory fitted alarm, one of my key fobs has lost synchronisation with the alarm (battery is still good)

I know there is a method of removing the battery and then pressing the two buttons in a sequence to re-synchronise the key fob.....anybody know what this is ?

I can still operate the alarm and central locking no problem with the second key fob (so switching the alarm off is no problem)

Just want to get the other remote control fob to communicate with the alarm system again.....any more thoughts ?

It is the factory fitted alarm and the "de"structions say "press both buttons simulatanously for two seconds. This will return the system to normal operation".

I had this problem some time ago and this didn't work, somebody gave me a another sequence of button presses which did work......unfortunately I can't remember who it was and what they told me !!!!
