Do you see the 300zx Dated Now'adays or as a Superb Looking Classic Jap Supercar Still?
Even Twin Turbo T-Bars are going Cheap now..
I think with a few choice mod's could be a Good car but others Beg to Differ..
Opinions Please? smile

I had a 300zx twin turbo 10 years ago, it was one of my fav cars always put a smile on my face.

Sadly it was for me a money pit. I was only 21 was paying 2400 a year insurance, broke down loads, but that turned out to be and intermittent crank angle senser issue.

Was thinking of buying one for keeps before their all gone. And its still a lot of car for the money.

It hasn't aged as well as some Japanese cars of the era, but that shouldn't be a massive concern.

I don't think it has dated any more than any other cars of the era. Still lovely looking motors, especially from the front.

I think in Standard form they still look superb.
I had one years ago and would have another.
99 spec rear lights and front bumper really update the look.

Lovely cars with a nice power delivery. Although the engine bay is fairly cramped. Surprisingly, Wikipedia says it was made up until 2000.

The headlights were similar to the Bugatti EB110 too?

edit - Having had a look, they are similar, but not the same.

Yes they look dated, but they are allowed to given the age. But in my opinon there's nothing wrong with looking your age....and the 90's were a blinding time! biggrin

I don't think they've dated well, but I still have to haul myself away from them in the classifieds occasionally. Mate had an N/A with a sports pipe - made the most incredible noise!

Indeed, I often say the mk2 Mr2 looks dated in a good way. Various meddling do-gooders have seen to it that you can't make a car that good looking anymore!

Same headlights as a late shape Lambo Diablo.
