they are very few and far between and you'd do well to find one within your budget, what about a mx5 or celica or something along those lines cheap as chips

MX5 is the best similar type of car you will get in your budget I think. I looked at Cappuccinos but even rotten ones were going for about 2K.

Need a better budget for one of them now (even a rotten one), very rare little cars.

I've been looking into these and had a ride in one

A great fun car a bit small inside and at 6'3" I just fitted with the roof on when / if I get one it'll need seat runner mods to make it a bit more comfy

but I think you can get a reasonable car for about £1500 but expect a bit of work fo this sort of money, if you can weld you might find a bargin

look on here for loads of info

http://www.clubcappo.co.uk/

they're quicker than you might think as the supposed 66Bhp limit for Kei cars was interpreted by Suzuki as being at the wheels not at the engine so they put out around 85bhp and weigh in at 725kg so 117Bhp / ton

My thread has arrived!
Right.
I suggest you get yourself over to Clubcappo.co.uk and register pronto.
We'll be more than pleased to help you out with anything you want to know. and we've got a few cars for sale.
I've had 2 (still got one)
Love them.
Let me know what you're looking at and I'll give you some pointers.

edit: This one is probably the best Value for money out there at the moment give the low milage.
Just lose the stupid rear spoiler and that's a tidy little car.

This one is spot on your budget and given the work its had done is probably about right.
Though would be best to have a look round it first!

if you want to know anything more or have a drive in one, let me know and we'll see if anyone in the club is local....
