And holy heck batman i feel like i have a new car. I cant belive the differnce that it has made
the subaru feels so much better now for having it done. A few people said i should go to Bob Rawle and i did he is a top bloke his magic has made my car so much faster. Just need a upgraded clutch now to handle the power.

Hello mate sorry i forgot to add that as i am like a small child at christmas. It is a 98 uk spec 2000 turbo it has a full 3inch de-cat and up pipe, induction kit and a higher rate fuel pump along with a simtek ecu.
So not a massive spec standard 13 years ago it was 220 bhp it is now 280 bhp with a two stage map.
I now have a very cool switch that on one setting is fast the other is even fastersmokin

Cheers James

So the switch literally lets you choose between the maps? Does that mean you could have one to preserve economy and one for performance?

Yeah I have one set to limit it to 1 bar boost so when i am just driving about town i will use that one.
Then when i want to go all out i flick the switch and then i am hitting 1.5 bar. Which feels like a bit of a jump but alot of fun.

Had my Impreza re-mapped three weeks ago, too. What a difference to performance. I would urge anyone to consider having it done. I only now need to have a rolling road done to gauge power figures.

I know it has made a massive change to the car feels alot better its running tip top. I need a rolling road done to as mine was mapped on the road not on a dyno.

Which ECU did you use? the company i work for supplies ecu's that are able to give 3 different maps, and yes you can have an economy map if you wish.

Thats a good power jump did you get any print outs?

I have used a simtek ecu and no i have no print outs as of yet but it will be going on the dyno soon. The chap who mapped it said that should be the figure that it will be hitting now.
