If you don't mind a £Mega fuel bill then 'Do It '.
There arn't many cars that can live with it and in the wet even fewer(probably about three)lol. Masive boot with the seats down (just done LM) and very civilised.
Martin.
Really am considering one next...
But can't decide if I'd enjoy a Skyline more...
Hmmmmm. What ya reckon?

My views on GTO are well known (sorry Martin) and i have to say....
Go for the Skyline!
I think I'd have to go for a GTR, just for the feeling of knowing I was driving the original "Beast from the East."
Your views of the GTO pretty much sum up my expectations, I must say. I don't know what it is about Mitsubishi but they don't seem to be able to get it right in the chassis department (Evo being the exception) - I found the FTO incredibly dull. It's just a shame the car looks so good and has such a good stereo.
Still, nothing a bit of aftermarket fiddling won't fix.

I've never driven a Skyline so can't comment on the comparison, but I would agree that the Mitsu is a bit dull untill you really push it. In ordinary driving conditions you just point it, hit the loud pedal and off it goes with no fuss. I'd love to be able to turn off the traction control but can't. In the wet it's fookin awesome. It behaves exactly like it does in the dry! Still, it's just a 'fill-in' till the Noble arrives in August, mid engine, RWD, no traction control or ABS with 352bhp & 1050kgs.....now were talking!!!
