Where can I get an aftermarket exhaust system for my 3000 GTO twin turbo. I can't find anyone! Thanks, Martin.

Hi,

I have used a company called Camskill to get hold of parts for my wifes FTO.

www.camskill.co.uk/index.php

Hows the GTO to live with daily - my wifes looking for one to replace the Fto.

Cheers

Lee

If you don't mind a £Mega fuel bill then 'Do It '.
There arn't many cars that can live with it and in the wet even fewer(probably about three)lol. Masive boot with the seats down (just done LM) and very civilised.

Martin.

I don't suppose you'd care to share those views with me, would you?

Something tells me the Skyline will be considerably more exciting, whereas the GTO will be considerably more luxurious.

Yes, i think its very overated. Its heavy and people buy it becuase its the cheapest way to go fast. Also they are very dull to drive. Buy a Skyline gts and have much more fun!

I think I'd have to go for a GTR, just for the feeling of knowing I was driving the original "Beast from the East."

Your views of the GTO pretty much sum up my expectations, I must say. I don't know what it is about Mitsubishi but they don't seem to be able to get it right in the chassis department (Evo being the exception) - I found the FTO incredibly dull. It's just a shame the car looks so good and has such a good stereo.

Still, nothing a bit of aftermarket fiddling won't fix.

I've never driven a Skyline so can't comment on the comparison, but I would agree that the Mitsu is a bit dull untill you really push it. In ordinary driving conditions you just point it, hit the loud pedal and off it goes with no fuss. I'd love to be able to turn off the traction control but can't. In the wet it's fookin awesome. It behaves exactly like it does in the dry! Still, it's just a 'fill-in' till the Noble arrives in August, mid engine, RWD, no traction control or ABS with 352bhp & 1050kgs.....now were talking!!!

Were you in it when he smashed his wheel to pieces in a roundabout? That would scare anyone.
