I have a legacy that i havent used for a while and is on a sorn. its a y reg, leather seated, manual with a newish engine (its complicated!) and i want to get rid. The thing is that it has no MoT or tax and hasn't moved for a few months. It seems that values have fallen and was wondering if it would be worth more as parts than as a car to be sorted and put back on the road. What do you guys think? I've been offered a grand for someone to take it off my hands, but i have no idea of the parts value (Mods, I'm not trying to sell it on here through this post - Honest!)

The value of them does seem to have bombed - guess there's not a lot of demand because of the fuel economy and every man and his dog seems to be importing them now the majority are over 10 years old and don't need SVA.

You can buy a working one for a bit over £2k, so £1k for a non runner doesn't seem too bad. You could probably make more breaking it yourself (if its full leather that's pretty rare, no idea if anyone wants it though!), but that'd need space, time and effort.

Not sure they're that easy to shift regardless at the moment, which is a bit of a pita as I might want rid of mine in the next few months.
