Impreza and WRX Split....Auto Express Article this morning..

I thought this was quite an interesting snippet about the future of Subaru and and plans for reentering rallying.
The artists rendition of what the hatchback might look like i quite like apart from the front that reminds me of a SEAT. Apart from that i wouldn't say no.

Well, it is only an artists rendition and they are rarely representative of the real thing however, i think it's kind of on the right track.
My wish list though has two letters and always will....P2!! That's never ever going to happen though so i think a small compact hatchback, so long as it has all the right dimentions and curves will be OK.
I've no doubt the real thing will look and be awesome this time as i believe Subaru have learned by the generally awful feedback they've had worldwide from fans and owners, and several serious mistakes they've made with the current hatchback.
The fact they are seriously thinking of getting back to rallying with an all new car primarily designed for purpose speaks volumes that they are finally thinking like in days of old, and i for one would love to see a homologated version for the road.
I'm sure it would sell like hotcakes!!

They never left rallying, and the Spec-C still is a homologation version for the road
I agree about the P2 though!Subaru, still rallying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq3OmzIgIIs

There must be some ex-works cars doing the rounds. I wonder what they cost?
