I would go for a local subaru specific one. eg I'm in Surrey, so I roll with Surreyscoobies.co.uk. You get a better level of personal & local knowledge that way I think.

Here in Kent we have Kentscoobies.com, but you need Middlesex Scoobies:
http://bbs.scoobynet.com/middlesex-subaru-owners-c...

They have some good guys there. You wont find it cliquey.

I highly recommend NASIOC: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/

It's based in the US, but there is a lot of technical information in the forums. The off topic forum can be a bit rough to newbies, but the technical forum members are extremely friendly.

I'm the same username over there. wavey

thanks for the replies everyone. i joined up with scoobynet and to be honest, its not the friendliest (or busiest)OC ive been on. maybe its because the other club i'm a member of is pretty small and you are always garenteed? an answer or someone just on for a chat/advice. i think scoobynet will take some getting used to.

Yes Scoobynet can be a odd place. I registered in 1999 but hardly ever post there now. However there is loads of great info on there just use the "Search" button. The social "club" aspect of it varies from region to region e.g. East Anglia (where I live) is pretty poor but that's why I'm on Pistonheads biggrin

Other national clubs and BBS worth noting

http://forums.sidc.co.uk/ Subaru Impreza Drivers Club. This was the first UK Subaru club but it's a bit dead now unless you live in Scotland

http://bbs.22b.com/ The place to go if you have lots of really technical questions
