If you don't mind me asking did you find the Rallyflapz effective at keeping gravel rash off the sides of your Swift, I actually had some made for my zc33s after seeing them on a picture of your car I think. I have yet to fit them though.
They really do to be honest, yeah. I bought them for cosmetic purposes really, but they are functional. Keep the sides and rear of the car clean. Edited by xu5 on Thursday 29th October 10:10

Could do I reckon, yeah. I've just had a look on Parcelforce and put in some estimated weights/dimensions and it come out at around £17 for express48, plus a couple of extra quid for some bubble wrap, etc. Can use whatever courier/service you prefer though. Let me know. It's still on the car for now, but I'm just waiting for a date for my new car and it will be coming off, probably next week.

Sorry friend, that exhaust isn't coming off in a month of Sundays. At least not by my hand, anyway. Fully rusted itself on. Funny because the rest of the full exhaust looks nigh on brand new. Anybody want an original ZC32S exhaust.....
Am seriously looking at one of these as a nest car, wold be interested to know the opinions of those with the earlier model and the later, seems few differences, other than emissions, looks etc. Obv the older is cheaper.
Do you think any better, worse, cheaper to run, more reliable? Am talking sort of 08/09 older and early versions of newer model up to 12 depending on mileage.

You won't find the later version in Sport form before 2012. That model ran from 2012 to 16.Do you think any better, worse, cheaper to run, more reliable? Am talking sort of 08/09 older and early versions of newer model up to 12 depending on mileage.
This later one gives the option of 5 doors, it has a six speed 'box, cruise control and semi-automatic climate control which the earlier one doesn't.
Lots of people say the later one is more refined but the later one is still as close as you'll get to an old school hot hatch, which you could still buy new up until 2016/17.
Like for like there won't be much difference in reliability or running costs but the older version will be a minimum of 8 years old now.
I'd say if its going to be a daily for you and you expect to use it on the motorway relatively often the later car is your best option. If its an occasional car then go for the early one.

Picked up mine this afternoon. A fine little thing. Now trying to leave it alone. It has the parking sensors which turn out were a dealer for option.
Out for a blast when the rain stopped. Makes you smile. Needs all the revs. Great fun chasing the Clio, well trying to keep it in sight. No lifting off to keep momentum, Suspension/ride very soft. Feel like it could tighten up to reduce the roll. One to work on. Rear ARB, lower? Wee update:
Fitted some H&R springs -30mm. Ride copes well. Surprisingly well. Good bit stiffer and rebound struggles with multiple undulations. I am now looking to go the coilover route but a lot on the market all with pros and cons. Taking some time to figure out the best way forward.
Pipercross panel filter - fitted. Makes a difference. Which I was not expecting.
Camber bolts to fit and complete alignment with some starter settings. Too see where to go.
New discs and pads all round. Callipers cleaned up and a lock of paint.
Inside:
Centre armrest fitted. Too high to be honest. Folded back almost all the time.
Custco gear knob on order.
Remap from CTC likely incoming very soon.
All in all, still going strong. Proper old school fun. Biggest difference so far putting pilot sports on it. Huge difference.
Looking at some passenger window seals as they are peeling off at the shut like. Anyone else seen this?
Decent ride quality is one of the things I really like and you compromise by going lower.Absolutely the ride quality is brilliant. Trying to not loose that but stop a bit of the travel. Will take it in steps see what what to go. Not wanting to head down the coil overs route.

Wider tyresOEM size same as zc31? 195/45
Going to 205s makes a heck of a difference. Couldn't get over the insane body roll in the zc31 and thinking of ditching it after a couple of months.
