New into the world of Astons and have recently pursched a 2012 V8 Vanatge.

They say you should test everything when buying a car (test drive, looking around, trying electrics, aircon etc)

Thought I had done everything but have stumbled across a major problem......

The cup holders are to small!!

Big coffee drinkers in our house and we have standard travel coffee cups (keep the coffee hot etc) they just dont fit (even my 4c's were big enough....and Italians like espresso!!)

My wife loves the car..... yet to tell her when we go on trips it's a no to coffee on the go with our own brew or we have to stop of and slum it with starbucks. Either way it's a conversation I wish to avoid. It wont end well.

Amazon is not throwing up any decent standard coffee mugs with smaller bottoms.

Any suggestions (add onto the cureent holders/products you know fit /alternative coffe cups)

This is worse than finding a warning light on the dash or breaking down 😉

Again thank you for all your replys.

The post was rather tongue in cheek in that some posts can be a bit doom and gloom when owners have issues and thought it would be a fun way of asking..... does anyone have recommendations for a cofee cup that fits.

Just purchased the Nespresso Nomad as that ticks all the boxes. So thank you for that recommendation.

Yes we are coffee snobs, its very tricky to find good coffee and so our own is 'just right '

Very pleased and lucky to own a car like the Vanatge. Even more blessed that all I have to worry about in life right now is finding a coffee cup that fits. I know that will change but I'll take that and enjoy that for as long as possible.

Loving his section of piston heads.

Happy motoring and the Sigg Lighting McQueen bottle is next on the list.

Thanks all

Do you have a manual or a flappy paddle? If the latter, there is a company that 3D prints a cupholder for the alcove where gear stick has been removed from (I will need to dig out details).
I forgot about those, they refined them some more

So I bought a cup holder. It’s not bad to be fair but I do wish it were topped in piano black. I may have a go at designing and making my own. ??

Result.

I bought the nespresso cups and fit perfectly into the holders. So I went ahead and bought the phone holder.

Let you know what its like.
