Hi Guys and girls,

Have any of you have extra tint put on your Vantage glass? If so post a picture?

I've always had extra tint put on all my cars as this reduces the heat coming in the windows from glaring sunshine, keeps the cabin much cooler. I'm not talking about boy racer blacked out windows, but just a light tint.
I can't make my mind up if it would suit this car or not, so photos will help.

same here - usually have a light (max legal) tint on all my cars...helps keep cabin cool and cuts down glare at the sides ...helps me as I wear glasses

looks good IMO...

My car is black too, looks great with that light tint. Do you have another photo so i can see the back window?

Thanks for this smile

a bit hard to see on a photo - in sunny days from distance dosent look very dark, on overcast days it looks darker than what it is ...and from the inside you cant really tell that much, unless you undo the window a bit

Here is 30% tint. Keeps the heat down and protects the leather dash etc.

Garage (and car of course) looks great. I'm looking for similar tiling/floor covering, what are you using?

I think I have the same cupboards as you BTW.

Thank you James. The flooring is Gladiator Garage flooring. I absolutly love them and just sweep my garage clean.

I could see it being a bit of a pain with the rain and such in England, but it never rains in TX and the flooring stays clean. They snap together over your existing floor.

The cabinets are also by Gladiator, and I have the larger ones on the opposite side. Quite nice, as they slide along the rails off the ground!

Funnily enough I have a minature version with similar colours smile

...I just need to find some decent wall units in the UK that are not £500 each (!)

@ James: tiles are from www.dyno-tile.co.uk ..you need a smooth concrete floor to put them on (self level compound works well) they do insulate a little and are far more comfy to work on...

Quinny what is the mirror for at the end of your garage? Are you a man of small stature? (not sure what the PC words are for being a short arse)

we have had 2 TVRs and Lotus previous ....but thankfully lived just a couple of miles from our specialist garage LOL

my mechanical work limitations are topping up oil, and changing a set of wheels ...oh and cleaning...sometimes wink
