At Harewood last September there were at least 10 Aston's, but this Spring there aren't any at all at Newby Hall.....

A chance for Northern owners to become aquainted?

I'm, all things working out as planned, buying an N400 on Friday, so would be good to meet others.....

I've been to most Cars In The Parks, initially in the TVR and then the Astons. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make this one though.

Last year the local AMOC area supported CITP but I haven't heard whether they have any plans to do so this time.

Assuming my seller doesn't pull out I'll pick up an N400 on Friday then there will be 2 Aston's listed for CITP at Newby Hall

All checks ok, so looks 99% certain I'll be at CITP with an N400, must be some more in the region who fancy a meet up at Newby Hall so I can put some faces to usernames.

CITP is Ripon way IIRC - never done it.

There are a few others I know of.

The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power is on in July

There's a car show at Tatton Park most months

Reading the latest "AM News", the AMOC publication, it looks like the local area are intending to go to the Harewood CITP in September and have somehow missed the Newby Hall event frown

Just heard from Andrew Forret, the RO for Area 6. Apparently CITP clashes with Spring Concours so there will be no official AMOC presence this time.

I'm going as it's only a 40 minute very nice drive from me. Think there's 2 other AMOC cars there?

5 When I finish registering, wasn't aware of this event but looks like it could be fun.

Mine will be the Metiorite V8V that looks like it's been shot at the front my a machinegun! (really needs a respray frown )

I wouldn't worry too much...we will have been driving round Yorkshire for 3 days and I won't have had chance to wash it, so the front end will will most likely resemble an insect graveyard...

I've registered.

Getting it detailed on the Saturday by Tom @ Divine Detailing as above, so will just be bugs collected on the journey to Newby Hall.

LOL park next to mine then, it will make yours look good ...its black with shotgun effect to front n sides frown

rather than a concours like at AMOC, shall we have "whos got the most used and battered looking Aston" type event ? wink

..if the prize is a respray, im off out to do a couple more trackdays quickly to make it worse smile
