I meant retaining the plaques as a memento. I know that if they're not personalised then it just reads something like 'V8 Vantage - handbuilt in England' but even so, it's something worth keeping from the original car even if you're replacing like for like when the time comes to trade or sell on. These plaques would actually make a great inclusion on a framed photo of previously owned cars.

Not sure the dealer would have appreciated the car being returned sans plaques , but I know what you mean as a memento.Di
I bought a set for my DB9 a few weeks ago when I paid for my Aston at Stratstones with a very personal message on . I couldn't resist it when they offered the service and got swept along on the wave of excitement of ownership to give a s**t about the price...oops!!, I got to keep the origional ones too. Tony yours look superb mate, and Di many happy returns come June should we forget.
