Have these cars now reached the bottom of the depreciation curve, always fancied one and now might be the time to buy. Are there any known general faults to look out for? Any recommendations for service specialists in Kent/Sussex/Saarf London.
Thanks for any advice.

They shouldn't go much lower, but I have thought that before... Big engined and expensive to run, prices seem rock solid for a while then there will be a one for £20k and everyone goes mental! If DB9s get closer to £30k, where can the DB7 go but down? GT will always have rarity and desirability on it's side though.

Best bet is Chiltern Aston for the DB7, they are the undisputed model specialist. Near Hemel Hempstead, hardly close but always worth the drive to get it to the right place (I live in London and am having my DB9 'done' at DMS in Derby!)

Coil packs are always the DB7s achilles heel, but almost all cars will have been done by now. If not it's £1500 and can lead to failed cats due to the misfires (VOE). Air con seals can perish which can be £2k as hard to get at, in short these cars do suffer from lack of use so consider a car that's been used, not a garage queen.

The beginnings of rust are showing on some DB7s now though the GT being the last produced should be fine. Conditon, perfect service history (don't be scared of independent specialists!) and for some reson low owner cars are preferred by Aston types. No idea why, makes no odds to me, but might help you get a bargain.

Good luck, miss mine terribly!
