What a day - sun beating down , fantastic scenery bursting into life everywhere , the roof came down on the DB9 and the manual gearbox was put through it's paces to make the v12 whine and roar . After an hour or so of listening to the v12' s ecstatic whining bouncing of stone walls and overpasses I hit the city and went into posing mode windows down and Van the Man treating passers by to Brown Eyed Girl, closely followed by James Taylor Mexico . Pretty much a perfect afternoon.

Giving my age away I know with the music but wondered what my fellow Aston officianados slot into the CD for such occassions ? smile

1,200 km today, down to the south of France, topless most of the way. The Gurus cd, Closing Circles, seemed to fit the vibe best. cool

ETA: what a mess on arrival - red (as in splattered insect bodies) and yellow (as in the car colour) don't go well together! yuck

Paganini and Wagner I'm afraid. Steve Reich if I'm feeling more contemporary ...

Didn't really like Wagner on the X Factor but, hey, each to their own tongue out

Who said I was a guy biggrin

I sit in the car, listen to her roar into life, connect my iphone4 to the dock and just blast out a bit of antipodean magic.

I have no idea what my DB9 sounds like in motion.
