Sticky gearbox

Hi all,

Looking for some ideas on what might the problem be...I suspect clutch is just about to blow up..but I'm the eternal optimist ;-)

My 08 manual Vantage which has covered 20k+ happy miles has suddenly today become blooming difficult at above circa 4000 revs to stick it in 3,4 and 5th gears.

At low rev's its fine to change but above, I'm fighting to get it in the right gear hole - oddly the clutch doesn't feel extra heavy and there doesn't appear to be clutch slippage.

Any thoughts would be welcome.

Whatever it is, it doesn't sound right to me at all.

I'd get it to a service agent before using it much more.

If it's fine at low revs, you'd think that the 'box itself is fine. So either an adjustment issue or a part failing (release bearing or something?).
