Sorry but I can't contain myself any longer, I've done it, I've bought myself an Aston Martin DB9 at last. I've been looking for nearly a year for the right one and now it's mine thanks to the wonderful staff at my local Aston Martin dealer in Wilmslow......well it will be in a week once it's finished its prep. I know I should've waited and posted photos with my post but my sheer excitement has gotten the better of me and I just had to let you guys know, I've been like a giddy kid for weeks now. She's a beautiful Meteorite silver '05 model, black interior with silver stitching and piano black dash .I look forward to meeting some of you guys at the Aston meets and drives.Bonus, I get to keep my beloved TVR Chim too.

Congratulations, welcome to the mad house. I got mine out of the garage yesterday where it has been for 3 months whilst I have been recovering from surgery. It had a full tank of fuel, so I said to SWMBO, I'm off for a drive and will be back when the tank is empty.......and that's exactly what I did smile

Many congratulations, while a very proud v12 vantage owner I can't pass a db9 without giving it deep admiration. It really is one of the most beautiful and perfectly proportioned cars ever made.

I enjoyed a day in a db9 a couple of years ago and loved it. Hilariously fast! That was meteorite too. Stunning. Good for you and welcome to the gang.

Congratulations! Everytime I get into mine it is a truly special experience, and that before I've started the car up!!!
Also great you've kept the TVR Chim...I did likewise and enjoy both cars for the differences they offer.
Pics ASAP please!

Thank you for the warm welcome guys.Seems to be a lot of present and ex-TVR owners here, I hope the commeraderie is just as good here and with Aston owners as it always is with the Tivs.

Looks very nice smile

Good to see another DB9 on here too, getting vastly outnumbered with those V8V owners

That's because most DB9 owners can't
"use one of those new fangled computer things"
because
"They will never catch on"
and they
"don't see what is wrong with an old fashioned letter"
and certainly don't
"understand that Twotter thing"
and don't even
"know what that book about faces is!"

Present company excluded of course!
