Do they all do that?

Leave the car in the garage (unlocked - the car is unlocked obviously not the garage) return the next day to the garage, open the car door and it starts making 'ping, ping, ping' noises just like when you left the lights on and opened the door. Nothing is on, nothing is set......so what the hell is it pinging about?

Why leave the car unlocked?

Why leave the car unlocked?
My V8V does something similar. If it is left unlocked and the door is opened it makes a "bong" noise.
If the car is locked it doesn't make the "bong" noise when the door is opened.
I think very few folk have found this because they haven't left their car unlocked for a period of time say in a locked garage

Well, it's in a garage where they would have to move two other cars before they can even get to the garage door. ....they would then have to get into the locked garage. I work from home and to be honest if they do all of that without me noticing then they can have the aston....
(the real reason for sometimes leaving it unlocked is just a habit I got into... I used to have a TVR whose battery would die regularly)
