Just in case anyone was in the market but didn't want to take the depreciation hit!

What makes you think it will be sold less than list ? did they not sell them all before they made them and had a waiting list for the ones not scheduled for production yet ?

Looks like one of those "if you have to ask you can't afford it" jobs to me.

I imagine that the dealer purchased the car through one of it's wealthy clients. I guess that Aston wouldn't sell the car to a dealer to prevent things like this happeneing, but a client can make an easy buck by ordering the car on behalf of the dealer.

I guess Aston will not be too impressed.

If we can get 300 PH's to chip in 5k each they might just take it. One driving day per year per syndicate member. The other 65 days for service, touchups, wheel repairs etc. If we can get Rick to join in we could probably save on servicing as well.

That owner is speculating frown
He thinks he will get more from someone unwilling to wait or not on the list!
Same is still happening with the Alfa 8C
TBH the 1-77 does nothing for me.

Isn't it quite sad that it's been owned for a while and has ZERO milage.

It would be a crime for that car never to be driven frown

I'm pretty sure they are now? Around Jan/Feb time I'm sure there was an announcement that they were all sold.

why the hell would you want a sat nav , in one of those anyway.

just get in it and drive.

Sat navs are the devils work and should be banned. Spoils the fun of driving.

They are not all sold according to the Aston man at Gaydon on Tuesday, 10% left was his reply when asked.

He bought one that wasn't a complete car, so didn't count towards the 77. He also bought one to drive, so not a complete tosser.

Come on ... if you could afford it, can you think of anything more beautiful to hang on the wall?

aahhhh!!! didn't know that.i thought a fully functioning 1-77 just didn't deserve the indignity of hanging on a wall above a fireplace like some fking gazelle head!!hats off to the chap if he has a real one for the road.quite the discerning gentleman!

Well the Virage and Cygnet now use Garmin so I'd assume so!
