I know there are bigger things in life, but I pulled over slightly too far on a very narrow village road to let a massive tractor and trailer go by (it was well over the centre of the road) and touched the kerb at less then 3mph but enough to hear that sickening grating sound. Its only light damage but I fee bad as I've inflicted pain on her.

Anyone used chips away for alloy repair or similar mobile service?

Hi, sorry to hear. Its a bugger when it happens.

Welcome to my world!

Be very careful who you use, my woes are well documented on here. My 'Diamond cut' V8V alloy came back damaged after being outsourced by a main dealer.

They refused to guarantee a repair on my V12V alloy, so I asked WS to do it.

Hopefully someone on here who lives in your vicinity may know of someone you can trust.

Good luck.
