TDI - Geometry check - fast road setup

Hi All, Having been booked in for over 10 weeks, I took my V8V Roadster to TDI near Lakeside in Essex on Saturday, for them to set up the geometry correctly.

I was very impressed with the guys - and their passion about cars and engineering.

So, I havent really played with the car yet - but I must say, it feels completely different. It feels like it almost glides now, really everything feels much smoother, and much more direct.

I will report back after a good drive - but first impressions are that you get a big change , for a very small outlay (around £250).

Us Northern Monkeys would be interested to see the alignment report as Essex is toooo far South for us!

I believe Rick at Derby Motor Services offers a geometry and suspension set up which will be an improvement over stock settings.

Although I haven't yet used Rick he seems to have an excellent reputation on Pistonheads.

Rick is more of a mechanic than an irrigation expert so best look elsewhere on this occasion

He does and they are different to the factory settings
I'm interested to see if they are different to TDI
