£20k for an OSR tail light sounds a bit steep.

Is that the one talked about at some length on here on another thread?

If not then that could be a fatal and sick imho

Haven't seen another thread, but appologies if sofrown

What I find shocking is that an insurance company can allow this sort of thing to go on.....

I'm all for getting lightly damaged cars repaired, and useful parts re-used.... But there must be a line where this just isn't on..

Unrecordedconfused I just don't get it
Hey, I wasn't inferring your comments were sick. Just the fact that if it wasn't the car discussed in depth on this forum then it may have been an alternative where we didn't know the story.

I think this car should have been laid to rest, its a sad end to an Aston.

That car was always going surface at some point frown
Bit of a loop hole in the system there.
Just because the insurers refused to pay out means it doesn't go on Vcar frown

Who would pay £20k for that? When fully restored, it would be worth maybe £39k? and it looks like it would cost a lot more than £19k to make it right

"Two keys and book pack" smile

Like it will ever need the keys again.....

Would love to see the face of the guy who buys it, when he's told "You want all these chassis parts for one car? Are you an approved repairer? No? sorry, Good day to you"....
