Last one I bought on 10 August 2010 was £200 all up inc. nitrogen inflation, supplied and fitted at Chessington Tyres, who are part of one of the much larger chains.

Buckley are very good I've used them for years and always a great deal until 18 months ago when they stopped being competitive. I used them a few times after the prices went up but on my CLS55 they wanted £90 a tyre more than Wirral Tyres so I've not used them since.

Thanks for the replies guys.... I'll stick with my usual Indy Buckley Tyres for anyone interested.... Been using them for years, and although not the cheapest on this occassion.... They're not a million miles away on price, only 20 miles to travel, and I've always received service second to nonsmile

Ordered at 16.50, and booked in for 10am tomorrowsmile
You must be up my neck of the woods
Call Event Tyres for a better price! They will come to you as well.

Are you all sure that you are making sure these are the correct tyres you are getting at some of these prices.

someone mentioned they could get a full set for £600 something , yeah right , I really will not be putting my 185 mph supercar with tpm on these .

ring brigestone and say you are a supplier for ................. and would like to supply tyres for aston martins , the correct ones with AM9 on the sidewalls , not the others that dont have this but are alot more cheaper, but handle poorly as the sidewall isnt as strong. .
You will be surprised the price you are given , rubber has gone up 27% this year alone .

If you can get 2 tyres for £500 fitted by the pro's (aston pros) then go for it.
as it will only get alot more soon.

Good for you fella , just this week , had a customer had 4 tyres fitted , but rang us to say the car isnt driving right.
These had been fitted somewhere, and only a samll price cheaper than myself.

Car came in , straight away wrong tyres fitted , also tyre light on , chaecked all wheels , two tyre valves broken.

So this customer now has 4 wrong tyres and now needs to replace two tyre valves at nearly a £100 each.
so for saving a few quid it has now cost him a extra £1,200.

We hadnt finnished , checked the car over and found two holes in the underside of the car ,where it had be jacked up in the wrong place by the tyre company.
this is part of the main tub(chassis) of the car , this is very bad , and i am affraid that is all i can tell you.

My new tyres are the correct AM9 spec, and were manufactured in week 38 of 2010smile

And were fitted by the best fitters I know, for £500 all in.....

They were extra careful with jacking points, and wheel nut torque settings, pointing out to me that there was a difference between 21mm lug nuts, and 22 mm lug nuts....

I'll be going back next time I need more tyres...smile
Buckley get good recommendations £500 for two rears is about right, the dealer I bought mine from put all four on and showed me the bill for £900.
Cars like this are very sensitive to tyres and geometry.

TPM my fella , just like you , most of these cheap so called tyre dont know about them , hence they break them when they break the beed of the tyre , and yes to replace the TPM (Tyre pressure monitoring systems)valves they are around £100 each.

Buckley are good with geo as well. Settings are on a thread on here. Just stick 30-40 kg on each seat if you can.
