Going to Le Mans and am thinking of making my new V8V look a bit more in keeping. My wife raises her eyes and asks "Why". Hell why not ? My first thought is of course ,Added protection against French Gravel. My question is . I added film protection to the car which I must add is brilliant, you can see where the stones hit without chipping the paint. The thing is when you remove the stickers will that pull off the film. Also can anyone recommend someone who can do the removeable stickering. I am 54 by the way! I live near Hereford and do not want to travel loads of miles.
Thanks in advance
Rob

Nice shots. Not seen that Gulf livery before, thought it was more reminiscent of the Hertz scheme used on the old fastback Mustangs.

I had my V8V stickered up (to a degree) last year, i must admit it wasnt on top of protection film but that said, a hair dryer enabled the stickers to easily come off post event. I cant see the film coming off that easily.

Looks good, though if I am going to do it I will probably go a bit madder. After all we are going to Le Mans! That hopefully answers the Why question as in Why Not?

My Volante will have a similar style to the Gulf car; but already being green, the Gulf orange on that car will be replaced by a yellow fish mouth and stripes.

As to why... it's Le Mans, it's not a permanent lifestyle choice or nailing on a huge plastic spoiler, it's a few stickers to add to the atmosphere at Le Mans!

Anybody got experience of the Pistonhead stickers - look good but I am not keen on taking a haidryer to my paintwork to get them off.

no heat required as far as I know. I do not wish to remove my oh so expensive protective film. Come on people we are going to Le Mans! " Get with the beat Baggy! " Any one else going with CTR Events? Life is GOOD
