Currently I drop my phone in the beverage holder in the central armrest (V8V) - in the past I've used Brodit iphone holders which were pretty good, easy to install, non-invasive and quite good quality. As Brodit don't seem to do an iPhone4 holder for the V8V I wondered what you lot normally use? TIA.

I use a Brodit holder for my iPhone 4 (via proclipusa.com) in my G55 and it's great. I have enquired several times about a holder for the V8V, but they still haven't released one. I'll ping them again.

Bit of valcro on the back of the iphone, and another bit on the central facia. Bingo. I've got the metal central facia (not wood) so the black valcro is hardly noticeable. And it peels off easily without leaving a mark. I use my iphone as a SatNav as it's so much better than the car's.

I was absolutely staggered how good the pads are. Once attached to the back of the phone you can just plonk the phone down on the ashtray lid area and it stays there until you pick it up. Awesome!
Leaves no sticky residue and works for ever. So simple yet so effective
