when does the squeak occur is it under braking, road undulation, cornering etc or a mixture of conditions, does temperature have an effect or wet dry weather, this is not a common issue but I have seen it also is their a knocking also under suspension drop such as dropping into a pot hole, or a rattle at the same time that sounds heavy in the corner of the dash area,

Firstly have a look at the spring specifically the very bottom ring, I have seen these broken and they are not always easy to spot, next the twanging this could be the wheel arch liner if it is not correctly aligned it can catch the spring, from your description the most probable cause will be the lower ball joint especially with it knocking as well, this is not easy to test as when jacked up you will not feel any play, some of the vehicle weight has to be supported and even then it may not be evident, and may require removing the arm to check properly, and will require a geometry on refitting,

HI ALL AND THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY TOPIC. MY 06 DB9 SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN SQUEAKY IN THE RIGHT FRONT. NOT SURE IF IT IS THE SWAY BAR BUSHING OR BALL JOINTS, THERE IS NO PLAY IN ANY JOINTS.

MAYBE RICK CAN CHIME IN, ARE ANY OF THEM PRONE TO BEING NOISY smile

THANKS ALL!
I had the same problem before and I need to replace the sway bar bushing, the service cost plus the car part is not reasonable and right now I just want to have a DIY skills.
