I assume that others have had their invitation to Gaydon for the 'Geneva Showcase'.

I've booked for Tuesday 5th at 11.35pm wink

Hope the food is as good as last time!

Got my invite, but not really able to go. And being a bit bah humbug about the kit on show, not really prepared to take a day off work to potter up.

Other than the Vantage S, the Virage, the Cygnet and the 177, what else would you want to see?

I think I might be a bit cynical but whilst onto AM on an unrelated issue I mentioned this as I hadn't received an invite. I was told it was because I was at the last V8 Homecoming and this was for others. Hmm, seems the same Ed50 I met then has an invite!!!

Perhaps they realise the last one for me did its job and I am unlikely to consider a Cygnet or a One-77.

Di I think i am in the same boat as you in that I was invited to the V8 homecoming and as a result bought a V12V.
I did receive an invite to the Geneva Showcase so something has obviously gone wrong somewhere.

Yep your right Di it is the same ED50,but like many others I too didn't get any official invite as such,it just came to pass in conversation whilst I was on to the factory regarding other matters.I suspect the mailing lists may have
gone ape again like they seem to do regularly regarding the AM magazine and alike.
It seems strange that some seem to have received invites where as some haven't,looking across the thread there are
several postings from people who attended the V8 knees up and will be attending at some point next week.
Looking back through the postings several of those attending have purchased vehicles prior to the V8 event or shortly
after it [like your goodself Di]so to me it does seem strange,In my world that would be classed as a current account and one to be kept informed and cultivated prior to the harvest of potential further investment by said customer.
I did think it weird no body appeared to be attending next thursday from this forum as I asked over this and another
subject but failed to get any response. From that I can only think I'll be seeing many different folk not akin to our
little forum or I'll be wondering about on my Jack Jones, please don't let it be the latter so Di,Mako and all give it one last shot and grovel if needs be and get those V12V's in that car park. I can't believe you would be intensionally over looked, accidently maybe.

Hi Ed

My comments were in no way a slur against your invite, purely as I recognised you as being someone I met and chatted to at the time, who appeared to have been included in this day.

I wouldn't have gone anyway, but my interest was piqued as to how AM select for these events. There doesnt seem to be a recognisable trend.

Catch up next month at the V12 met I hope.

Di
