Looks like a peach. Good work.

I'm also ex-TVR, well I say that, I've actually still got the Tuscan!

Welcome to the fold, great looking car

I don't suppose you were driving through Windsor this morning were you?

I saw a car exactly this colour on my way to a meeting at the Runnymeade and we exchanged waves (my first ever Aston wave back, so must have been an ex TVR driver!!)

There can't be many cars out there of that colour (or I certainly haven't seen many)

Congrats Quinny!

Is the exterior green too? Think the white balance on your camera might be buggered smile

Now, fuse 22 (in the boot) should be removed. Then buy a Tubi after a few months when you're bored and want more sound biggrin

Well... as you're at 'the end', when you finally shuffle of this mortal coil, bagsie first dibs on the Aston. hehe

Very pleased for you mate - congrats.
Wish I could join you but it's still a few years off for me, not that I'm jealous or anything. boxedin

Quinny: Congrats on the purchase....Did the Griff sell??? I sent a link to your ad to a couple of guys in Ontario Canada that have been known to import some RHD TVR cars back to the Colonies. Told them that if your car was a LHD that I would have never given them the link until after I was finished dealing with you.

That is a shocker to me as it seemed IMHO to be a very well sorted auto and that a person may find a TVR at that price and as nice but they would be hard done by to find a better one. Most of Canada is trying to ban the import of RHD vehicles like the province of Quebec did awhile ago and if it was a LHD I would be in like a dirty shirt talking to you. The Cat C shouldn't be a concern to anyone due to the last two owners and their due diligence to the cars upkeep and maintenance. Well good luck on the sale of the Griff and I shall keep The Spousal Unit off this site as I know that she would like your new motor but not in that colour. (I try to avoid our local AM dealer in our outings as we both like them and SWMBO is due for a new car and they are pricey here so we may have to settle on a JAG.) We will keep your contact info. (even though you have jumped ship to AM ownership) just incase we hop the pond in the future and are looking for a cup of coffee.

Is AM going to let you near the shop (with your vid camera when the car is in for servicing???????) You and many others will be lost if they won't.

Wayne, this is a forum for real cars; but you wouldn't understand until you owned one wink

My Tuscan Challenge car may go on the market later this year, but if you think that Astons are
expensive ....

Colin: I wouldn't say Astons are expensive but our local dealer (Bentley dealer also) has the market cornered for quite a few miles and he seems to take advantage of that fact. My definition of expensive is "Trying to keep 3 TVRs on the road when I live so far away from the TVR scene". The Spousal Unit is due for a vehicle upgrade and we have looked at the Jags and AMs and I do believe that the AM is a better unit in the long run.
It is nice to see that Quinny made the upgrade to the AM but I do think he will miss the TVR family and twisting his own wrenches. Guys like Quinny have motivated many of the younger generation like our daughter,Chelsea to twist some wrenches on their own motors and to be proud of their not so common vehicles.

Mr Colin Lyons:
If you ever find and read this post, I have to admit that I am tipping my hat to you on this side of the pond. Had the only V8 V (currently for sale here) out for a test drive and I don't think I need to say any more. I think the FIRM asking price is more than the "MSP" price but that dealer ( AM and Bent.) I hear has the market covered for over 1000 miles and he takes advantage of that. Probably only let me on the lot as I was driving a Tiv. He did say that it would fit nicely on his lot so I think he was hinting on a trade in but I will not give any of our TVRs up unless repairs and parts are unavailable. (Or they finally get me laying down in that cardboard box that the girls have picked out for me.)
