Why are most of the AM DB9, DBS and Rapides for sale currently black or silver? Personally I prefer more traditional Aston colours like this:

Tragically, the dealers have been telling customers to order cars in these colours as it 'helps resale' values. But I personally do not believe this to be true as Aston Martins have always been renowned for their individual colours and the ability to make a car really yours. The DB7 Vantage was the last example of this, many had two tone interiors etchttp://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/2302...

I had stern words with a sales man that tried to convince me that I should go for a DB9 in silver and not Marine blue that I had wanted. I ended up leaving as he was quite clear that I was making a mistake.

I'm not a fan of the silver and black cars either - not to say they aren't nice, just that I prefer something a bit more individual.
My first V8V was Toro Red, a superb colour and one that attracted far more attention than the traditional colours (at the time it was very rare).
My current car is anything but traditional in the colour department!
