Just returned from a 60 mile drive to the Fylde coast.
The problem is on my way home the car went through 4000 miles. How much has this wiped off the value.
It's bound to be pretty worthless now, yes?!
biggrin

Do others have super-high milages too wink

I'd be more concerned about the colour than the mileage;)

I'll give you tenner to take it off your hands.....the price of fuel an all that.....

...... and you never popped in for a brew ;-)

We could have had an impromptu meet-up and a quick chin wag.

Mako,

Whatever you may think, whatever those that may tell you.....

You have a special car. There are many who tell you it aint worth 2 cents....

I will tell you, you are the owner of a special automobile that few will ever have the privalage of owning or riding.

Play the long game. Enjoy your ride. For yours will be the DB5 of the 21st century.

As long as I can keep mine serviced, can pay for the fuel and tax and insurance, I will be an owner of a V12V. We are privilaged...never forget that......

I agree v12 is very very special. I am lucky enough to have 6 cars all very different. The v12 has characteristics which sets it apart from others in it's own unique way. Anyone that owns one is without doubt experiencing a future classic in the making and keep it long enough and who knows it could be worth more than you paid for it.....but in the meantime just enjoy!

Own it , drive it, love it!!

Resist those motor trade accountant headset thoughts that say that every 1000 miles is worth £X000 on trade in

My mate , who is a trader, had a Ferrari 360 and sold it because he could not bear the thought of the depreciation every time he took it out

Don't fall into that trap, from the moment you bought it, it is worth diddly squat - so get your money's worth!

It's absolutely worthless now!
Sell it to me! wink
My Sept 08 Roadster now has 19k miles on it and I'm continuing to add ~ 9k a year.
ATEOD the depreciation is worth the enjoyment IMHO

I always work on pence per mile, and the longer I own a car, and the more miles I do in it, the cheaper it gets for me smile

I think its horrific when you see people losing £30-40K changing car every 3 years just to do 2K miles a year ...I dont feel like Ive got VFM out of a car unless Ive put 50-100K miles on it smile

so just drive it more, and think of how much cheaper its becoming and better VFM with more smiles per mile smile

Thanks for the posts but my original post was really tongue in cheek. Unlike my previous GT3, putting mileage on the V12V will be easy as its utterly fantastic.

And i'm not really fussed if the mileage goes up because hopefully i'll never need to sell it so depreciation is irrelevant.

Hope to see many of you at events this year - lets all put lots of miles on these beauties! biggrin
