Discussion
OK,
really setting myself up badly here, but having suggested it in the first place, here's a non-exhaustive list of initial points to cover in an FAQ (can't believe I am actually volunteering for this - old enough to know better):
Vantage
Fuse 22 - What does it do - how to remove it inc Roadster
Battery Charging - how / where
reset procedure (seats / windows)
Cost of Service - guide only - Main Dealer vs Independent
Recommendations for Independents
How to tell if its a Premium Stereo
setting up headlights for Continental Driving
Gearbox - 1st / 2nd gear 'fix'
Sportshift - Clutch learn procedure
DB9
Similar to above - excluding Sportshift obviously
Pictures of Tony's Green DB9
DBS
as above
Wheel wobble
Vanquish
Gearbox issues / fixes
Cost of service / service interval
there will be others I've forgotten, but these are the main ones I remember popping up often. Let me know if there are other ones I've missed.
DB7
Not ignoring you lot, wanted to get the FAQ started, and don't see enough topics on DB7's to know what to put in. Seems to be a bit of cause and effect going on though - there are no topics / answers re DB7's on Pistonheads therefore I'll ask over on AMOC!
Don't intend to write exhaustively on every point, more a quick one liner then a link to previous thread where its been discussed. Would like to link to DMS's site as Rick's got an FAQ running for a number of the topics above (including some with video). Rick let me know if that's OK with you (its your copyright).
Anyone know how to actually make a post a sticky?
Final point - is this actually a good idea? it could make the number of posts on our forum very small.

Thanks Rick, will just link to your website for a lot of the items then - once everything up and running your end.OK, about to post up a Frequently Asked Questions Wiki - only on the V8Vantage so far (snd not complete on them). Please provide feedback on this post not the Wiki. Nothing to stop anyone else adding information to the Wiki.
Rick are you happy with the cost of service I've listed for DMS? Please change if not correct - got costs from previous posts.
Most of the infromation I've taken off previous posts ro linked to DMS website, so hopefully is accurate.

Neil the prices will be pre vat increases etc so possibly out of date, how about to keep it fair I submit a list of what is required at each service with the parts prices and the labour time, then a guide to labour rates, so everyone will be able to calculate the cost dependant on who they intend to use, also with what should be asked as to what is included such as module software updates as some include this and others will charge an additional fee,
