iPhone 4 Call Answering
Discussion
Hi,
I'm loving the new car, best thing i ever did. Just a quick question, car has bluethooth and I'm using an iPhone 4. It's also fitted with iPod conection which is a Denison ice link. Phone connects to bluethooth and all is good until I have an incoming call and I can't use the answer button to pick up the call!
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Whoa back up.... A Dension in a Vantage? I thought the only aftermarket iPod option was from Paralight due to the Aston's audio system being MOST, unless its a hardwired FM system.
Do you know what Dension system you have, who fitted it etc?

Paralight fitted a Dension system in my car, according to the instruction booklet it is either a 100, 300 or a 500Do you know what Dension system you have, who fitted it etc?
The Fibre Optic version is the Gateway 500.
There have been issues with answering the call from Iphone 4 on pre-08 AM Bluetooth kits. There seems to be no definitive answer, if it works great, if not, have to answer from the phone. The kit was made by Motorola and it was a fairly basic stand alone unit. The later cars then had it tied into the MOST loop, offering more features and better (?) quality.
I can retrofit a Parrot kit into the lidded cointray (covert), and I think I have a couple of remote interfaces left which allow use of the steering wheel controls to control the Parrot kit in the same way as the factory BT kit.
Best Regards,
James@Paralight
