V8V front parking sensor retrofit?

As title. Is it relatively easy to retro-fit front parking sensors to OEM spec?

I'm in the market for a 4.7 and really want FPSs as it's so darn hard to judge the front of the car (and I'm carp at parking!), but several I've seen are close to the spec I'm after but without them.

Would it be worth buying one without then getting them put in afterwards (or getting the dealer to do it as part of the deal) ?

The are many companies that will be able to do this .

Also the dealer will also be able to arrange it.

Sounds like it's a relatively straightforward thing to do then, so I won't rule out cars simply because they haven't got them.

IIRC fronts are standard on 4.7's but not 4.3's

Only if they're a "delete" option! A lot of the 4.7s for sale don't have them.

Weird - every 4.7 roadster on here has them and I've never seen one with out them

On the 09's it was an option. Don't know if they made it standard on the 10's or 11's.

Everyone that's saying it's easy to do, are we talking OEM retrofit or aftermarket..? For OEM do you need to get a different front bumper..?

Paralight (James) retro-fitted front sensors for me very successfully at my house. Recommended.

This post reminded me to get it done on the DB9 as not having them makes forward parking a somewhat nervous occasion and restricts the use of the car.

I asked at Aston Hagley whether they could do it and he replied that they use James at Paralight so I am getting it done in a couple of weeks - once he establishes the colour code.

So if I need to I'll either negotiate it into the deal with the dealer, or get paralight to sort it afterwards (they're near me anyway).

If only they could do a sat nav upgrade as well ...!
