I will shortly have venureshield put on the front mumber, hood and fenders. I am going to remove the grill and hood louvers so they can easily wrap the material and not leave any seems. I would like to pull the side strakes also, can anyone tell me the procedure or how hard it is.

By strakes I presume you mean sills?
I used to hate these film systems as you can see them in the right light.
However my V8VR came with it on in all the common gravel rash areas.
Having done 9k miles round the B roads of Scotland and Wales in it I'm actually very impressed with it.
My car now has 18k miles on it and only has 3 small paint chips (those are where there is no film wink )
It is a damn site cheaper than respraying evey few thousand miles laugh

The 'strakes' are the flashes/vents on the side of the wing I think.

Remove wheels and arch liners , to gain access to the rear of the strakes.
It not easy and can take an Aston Tec an hour a side.

And mind your hands.

scratchchin no need to go that far up unless you are wrapping the whole wing!
